Find out What Apostles are Called to do

There is a cry today in the church for Apostolic Governance and this because God has spent the last 20 years giving dreams and visions and words to prepare the church for the day of transition. And that day has come. Many have asked, “Why do we need apostles today? What can we expect apostles to do? Why is the Lord sending apostles back into the church now?” It is normal to question things that are new and to question the reason for things. A second set of questions surfaced in the church at the same time as the emerging Apostolic. These questions centered around that state of the church: “What is wrong with the church? What is missing from faith? Why can’t I find victory? How will the church be purified? It is as if the Lord turned on the lights and for the first time Christians began to see that their faith was not on solid ground.

These deep issues of faith did not surface over night, but over a period of time in the absence of Apostolic Governance. So, we see how the Lord has accomplished 2 things within the last 20 years: First He raised the level of awareness to faith crisis and second, He open the door for the church to understand that her problems cannot be handled independently, but that God is sending a steward to guide His sheep back to Him.
